Cornerstone turns orange for Care Workers Charity to celebrate Professional Care Workers' Week

At Cornerstone, we are proud to be a supporter member of The Care Workers Charity (CWC). The Charity recognises the essential role of care workers in delivering quality care to vulnerable individuals and supports care workers by providing financial aid during crises via grants and offering advice and support when needed.
Cornerstone are coming together with The Care Workers Charity to support Professional Care Workers’ Week (12th – 19th September 2025) by participating in Wear It Orange Day on Friday 19th September and we're inviting you to join in!
From Orange outfits and accessories, and even orange face paint, to orange cake bakes and accompanying fruit cocktails, the team are going all out in support.
Paul Hayes, CEO of Cornerstone said "The Care Workers’ Charity resonates with me deeply. Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed the struggles care workers can face - balancing personal lives with the demands of shift work and emotional pressures. The role of care workers goes beyond professional duties - it impacts people’s lives at a deeply human level. If we fail to value and sustain this workforce, the consequences for society will be severe, affecting the quality of life for many in the future."
"Supporting the CWC isn’t just about financial contributions - it’s about recognising the incredible role care workers play in society and helping to amplify their voices. Whether through donations, partnerships, or advocacy, every bit of support helps sustain the people who sustain our care system."
